The ANA 767 that had a crease 2012 was repaired and is currently still in service. It was 9 years old at the time, though.Jump to post
My home airport is FLL so a huge presence by both B6 and WN, used both quite a bit. I have Mosaic on B6 and used them the most as their network has served my travels well over the last few years, east coast to NE, trans-cons to LAX and SFO, Caribbean destinations for vacations. For quick work jaunt...Jump to post

Also have to remember that the reason the DC-10 ended up doing badly wasn't just the crashes, but the L1011 and it competing in a market (wide body trijet) that was already being phased out by the time the A300 and 767 rolled along, so did its crashes hamper the sales? Of course, but not nearly to t...Jump to post

Continued Allegiantification imho. The 757 did not work for Allegiant but the 737 does for Sun Country. It’s not rocket science to see where this is leading, and is a gamble that could always lead to some very interesting potential outcomes. 4 ULCC’s and WN just does not seem to make for a very pro...Jump to post

I have only flown few types: MD-80, 717, 737-800/700, and A321 Least favorite is the A321: God, those windows, why are they so damn small?! Wifi also didn't work and the airplane was brand new. The 717 had working wifi. Was Delta Comfort+ and the 717 was just Main Cabin. Also didn't help that the ty...Jump to post
Saw an older Southwest 737 at Opa-Locka, Florida last week. I’m assuming another retired aircraft being converted or chopped. If it was N629SW, it’s flying for Swift Air now and was recently repainted in a boring generic white and blue livery. At least it's closer to its original colors as Silver O...Jump to post
Flew two DL aircraft: 717 and A321 (The 321 was delivered two months ago) Wifi worked perfectly on the 717 but not the 321. Hopefully if AA introduces this, they can at least make it a bit more consistent. (Don't get me wrong - the Delta flights were splendid, I just found it funny how wifi worked o...Jump to post
Sure. They continued to allow an unsafe aircraft to fly, even after the rest of the world grounded it. They were putting profit before safety. Doesn’t take a genius to see that. They were putting passengers’ lives in danger. I can’t believe I’m having to spell this out. Good grief. Nothing happened...Jump to post

WN is much stronger than B6 on West Coast; B6 is based mostly in the east. They have two very different business models. Contrary to the snide WN comment, WN compared to the legacy carriers has no bag fees, no FF blackout dates, better Y legroom, better crew service/attitudes (reliably), free snack...Jump to post
I have read on a.net multiple times that a passenger version of the 767-300ER can be built upon request.. is it valid?Jump to post
Are these airlines comparable at all? And if someone asks me which one is better / which one to fly, what would you guys tell them? Personally, I've had great experiences with WN and on the west coast, WN is a much easier airline to fly than B6. And free bags. Other than that I don't know how to com...Jump to post

Omni Air International constantly cycles some of its 767-200s through LAS and I see them very often. I want to fly on one but dunno exactly how to do it seeing as they are a charter airline and only fly to HNL from LAS, it seems? Someone told me that they found bookable omni flights but I haven't be...Jump to post
If by "nice place" you mean 120F/49C+ temperature at ground level, due to heat radiating back off the apron's concrete..... sure. It's unseasonably cool in Vegas right now, only 85F. Because you live in LA. I have never met anyone who hates or refuses to fly WN unless they live in LA, and I have met tons of people there say that. It's been a long time since I've heard that and am actually surprised you would choose NK over WN. Do yourself a favor cher, and Google the term "...Jump to post

I visit McCarran a lot and don't recall anything being in that area nowadays. Very curious!
Edit: Figured out the questions. Driving past this area I don't recall noticing anything at all.
Given that WN is unlikely to go basic economy anytime soon, what does it do about NK's buildup at LAS or these other cities? Press the advantages: no change fees, bigger network, better seat pitch, two bags free, no carry-on fee. Spirit is always going to get the guy looking for the very lowest pri...Jump to post

I don't believe in anything supernatural, however most of the time these beliefs are pretty harmless, unlike religions/cults.
