Growing up right under a flight path in LAS near McCarran, I would very very frequently see WN 73G in Canyon Blue (sometimes the older livery) and I'd say that did it for me. What else even was there in the 2003-2010 timeframe for LAS as frequent as WN? :P

Another option would be Air China, they fly the 747-400 from Beijing to San Francisco and Los Angeles. I don't think either is operating with a 747 of any type currently. LAX Has 747-8 pretty sure.
