I'm seeing the first -10 for Vietnam Airlines as LN880, any idea on how long it will take until they roll it out? I would estimate that parts will arrive mid to late May, loading for final assembly either late May or early June and roll out somewhere around mid June Appreciate the info. Gonna try a...Jump to post

First 737 fuselage moved by road since 2012. (Unsure if MAX or NG) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Degzp3NVMAAAQgd.jpg Are they going to stick to road movements or is this one of? Is the movement due to increase in production rate? Secondly, I don't know if this is off topic but do different 737 lines ...Jump to post

The only airline that I am aware of where middle names are mandatory, as in guaranteed denied boarding, is Vietnam Airlines. Other than that their inclusion is often more cultural than anything else. Asian names for example often don’t have a ‘middle name’ but their full name is several words (in w...Jump to post

Not due until late this year. From my understanding they aren’t expecting their 1st until 2019.
Any news on the current status of 9V-SCA? 9V-SCA is still sitting on the flight line. Reliable sources have given me a specific delivery date at the end of this month. I’ll be there to capture it. Thanks for all the pictures from CHS. Us at Seattle was wondering when will anyone start uploading pic...Jump to post
Probably 3 step should be OK. But I think you'll need a car to get around the base as the light changes and to catch takeoffs/recoveries I guess having a car is better. I'll send in my application for International Driver Permit in a few days and I'll probably rent a car there. Do you remember how ...Jump to post
Hyakuri wooden towers have been rebuilt. They are now metal, taller and better. I spent a full day in Hyakuri in 2014. The F-4s flew all day from morning to dusk. Morning go to the towers, you have to drive to the gate and call the phone number. The old lady used to come out and collect a fee and o...Jump to post
I heard that when the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam get approve for the FAA Cat 1, they will start flying to US (with a possible refuel stop at Japan), even if they suffer losses in the first couple years.Jump to post
Ibaraki airport is the civilian side of Hyakuri airbase. There is a direct bus service from Tokyo station. When I visited using public transport the direct bus service wasn’t frequent so I took the train to a nearby village and then got a local bus. The schedule of the bus from Tokyo station to Iba...Jump to post
Hey guys, I'm currently planning a short spotting trip at Tokyo during my 3-4 days layover there. The plan is probably spend 1 day (possibly 2) at Hyakuri and another one at Tokyo Heliport and either Haneda/Narita. It'll be a solo trip so I'll probably stick with public transport to save on the cost...Jump to post
I go planespotting in Omaha multiple times every year and its always really nice! I have never gone to Offutt AFB but if you go to Eppley the best shots by far are off the Parking Garage! Hopefully someone else knows a few spots at Offutt! Thanks, I've been spotting at OMA a few times before, but I...Jump to post
