Agree, make sure you get on the 744 though. The bar area is much nicer and the seating layout in J is more comfortable. You wont be disappointed.

I had my D60 for near 6 years. You don't need to upgrade the camera. As said better lens options will help you allot, but also a better understanding of how to use your camera to its full extent.
