Is the 350 really usefull for LX? Would it not rather be better to simplify the long-haul fleet with one type? So either the 787-9/-10 or the 330-900neo, as both should be able to even fly the longest routes on offer right now and could cut costs with only having one type of wide body. The 777 will...

Airbus would be "stupid" to launch a potential A322 before B launches a NSA/MoM/797. As long as the A321 is the superior product in its class, there's no need for A to make a move.

How does the increased span of the 777-9 affect the cruising altitude? The initial cruising level for a heavy 77W lies between FL290-310 and later on rarely above FL370. I guess with the new wing, it should be able to climb up higher in the first stages of flight...

I really hope that we will see in 2025 5 A359 to go to LX to replace the remaining A343's and by around 2030 we will see the A333 fleet be replaced by A359's. Nevertheless LH group needs to decide in the next couple of years if the A333 fleet should remain longer at LX or be replaced earlier, since...

Regarding engine choice: They stated that engine type will be decided later, but interestingly they attached a RR Trent factsheet and the rendering shows the Trent aswell....
