Windows O/S In Airbus A350

While perusing photos on A.Net, I found a recent cockpit photo of a TAM A350 cockpit. In it, there is a screen showing the what looks like the Windows desktop. Since when did A/C manufacturers (Airbus in this case) start using Windows? What would happen if the legendary "Blue Screen of Death" occurr...

RE: LH Base First 10 A350 @MUC. 1st Routes BOS + DEL

I'm extremely happy that MUC is going to be the base (for at least from the start) for the A350's. <acronym title="Frankfurt am Main (Rhein-Main AB) (FRA / F...

RE: Interesting Photo Of 777-300 Scrapping

I saw those two a/c last week. It was my first time at SBD. I also saw a 744 Eva Air w/o the engines (the cowlings were attached though) and an older Malaysian Airlines 772 with the logo stripped an...

Condor DE490 "Unspecified Threat"

According to N-TV (Germany), a Condor A321 operating DE490 (Berlin Schönefeld to Egypt Hurghada) was diverted to Budapest after receiving a phoned-in threat, possibly bomb threat. Apparently the a/c was searched and the airline sent in a replacemen...

RE: New Heathrow Expansion Images Released.

Looks nice. But Heathrow is already a chaotic mess. Wait an hour before flight for gate assignment, walk a thousand miles from one end of the terminal to the other, let alone a whole 'nother terminal via tram plus the miles of duty free shopping in the way with passengers cramming the already crowde...

Foreign Military A/C Over Central California

Whilst checking Flight Radar 24 this afternoon, I noticed a Royal Australian Air Force A330 (ASY672) flying around 20k feet over the central valley of California just east of Bakersfield and over the Sequoia National Forest. The A/C departed from Edwards Air Force Base. I noticed some weeks ago that...
