OP here. Just want to say that I have enjoyed flying on Boeing planes all my life. 737 not so much, but thats besides the point. I'm happy for BBD because the Cseries is a great frame. It just is. But what Boeing did this year really pissed me off. I hope BBD and Airbus not only succeed with this pr...

While the destination adds are good, MIA had 26,184,768 available seats at YE 2016 and 26,248,004 available seats at YE 2017. That means even though they added 10 destinations they only went up 63,236 seats for the whole year! Only 1,217 a week or 173 seats a day. With huge drops from 4O, 7I, JJ, a...

GO MIA! MIA saw a net gain of 10 new international routes between May 2016 and May 2017. The second half of 2017 will include at least four new international non-stop routes at MIA, with the following launches already announced: BVI Airways will begin MIA's first-ever service to Tortola, British Vir...
Jump to postStill don't see the logic in starting Asia-MIA. You can fly 3 hours or less to JFK, DFW, IAH, IAD, BOS, ORD and have an unlimited route network to Asia. 1. I thought 350-8000 is a proposed stretch based on 35K 2. Why don't they talk to American airlines that are already operating in the airport instead? My thoughts exactly - but apparently for all new long distance nonstops, MIA usually gets the foreign carrier to come in first. I.e. Qatar, Finland,...

Would this be a 2-3-2 / 2-4-2 seat config? If so, would be roomy and might help make embarking/disembarking process more efficient = saving $, time, and better overall customer experience. I agree with his point about sitting at the back of an A321.
