I think the question is more is the travel industry ready for this. Many restaurants and hotels that are now experiencing more guests can't keep up with the demand because they laid off so many people. Previous employees have found other jobs or moved on and can't be replaced immediately. Who knows...

KEF has had a dedicated footpath into the town of Keflavík for a few years now, it's like 20-30 minute walk to the edge of town. It was possible to go by foot before but it was a rather unappealing route on the shoulder of a road with fast traffic.

Only 10 departures from KEF today as operations keep decreasing day from day. Five of those are UK-bound on Icelandair, easyJet and BA. The only flight to North America that remains on schedule is Boston.

That was factored into the forecast. The actual YoY drop in January was -29.8%. April will be the first month where YoY numbers will no longer be affected by WOW's collapse.
