EgyptAir 777-300 to EL SALVADOR 09JUN

According to the El Salvador planespotters Facebook group there is an MS 773 due to land tomorrow night (09JUN) in SAL . It's a nonstop flight all the way from CAI. WHAT could possibly be the purpose of such a big aircraft flying to my home country from Egypt of all places? I highly doubt that presi...

Re: United Announces EWR-PRG, EWR-NAP, SFO-AMS

I would think there are some cruise lines dictating the NAP service. As for those 2 flight attendants worrying about hotels: Unless you are very senior, the UA FA's will get these routes. But don't worry, OMA, TUL, and BIS will be open for junior and will be for a long time.. 727-200, Remember that...

klwright69 - Yes, we (subUA) in SFO have suffered, as have the subCO people who are EWR and IAH based. This disparity is just NUTS ! We (subUA) work ALL 777-300s as of right now since we still work under separate contracts , we do not work the 787-8 , only a few 787-9s - - and the ONLY version of th...

As a UA crewmember - sure, I'd welcome the $1,000 (before taxes) bonus but, BUT -- I'd much rather have better staffing on our 77W (two extra f/as ) and our 739s (one extra) - - Adequate staffing is sorely needed, for safety , security and service . It's outrageous too that we HAVE NOT yet merged in...

LUCKY Delta Flight Attendants ! I sure wish we (at UNITED) ordered Airbus narrowbodies. I love working them , especially the A319s ! Can't stand working of 737s. I am happy though that we will be working to Tahiti from my home (and home base) of San Francisco. But still, would MUCH, MUCH rather work...

Well QR also announced yesterday that they're increasing capacity on DOH-SEZ from daily A319 to daily A330-200...W17 until end of March...so will have to see if they keep this after BA starts, if BA code on the route had such a big impact. Speaking of UA Airbuses since I've only ever worked for United as a mainline carrier - - they are far more comfortable to work than UA 737s. We need to staff with 3 Economy flight attendants and 2 in First. The initial service takes far too long with just 2 on a 739.
