It's not bad, but quite boring IMHO. Even BA that pretends to be 100 years old is painting 4 aircraft and flying domestic flights with it (for 1 day). KLM *really is* 100 years old and they have a sticker on a plane... I would have loved to see KLM paint one of the last 747-400 that got heavy mainte...

AMS has an observation deck complete with its own jet. AMS' remains my favorite though. To be honest; the observation deck at AMS is a shadow of what is used to be. With the new Aspire and BA Lounge the terrace is now about 1/4 of what is used to be. And the part of the apron that is still visible ...

She was light as a feather; she needed VERY little runway for takeoff. Also cruising at a low altitude of only 19.000 feet and only ascending to 25.000 feet towards the end. Correct, but she's not flying in a combi-configuration anymore. KLM is the last airline to operate a 747 in combi configuration.
