I believe that people are more into recognizing signage with colors, hence the green you see in ATL. It stands out better in a sea of red and blue. It catches the eye quicker when you really need a representative. I personally love the plum, it's a game changer for appearance and style in the US air...

I seem to get regular updates on seat assignment changes for passengers on the BA flight, because of equipment swaps to the 787-900. I wonder if there are any statistics as to how often this has occurred and if it is becoming more the norm for the flight to operate as the 787-900 instead of the 800?

they already fly to all of their hubs, offer international service, and serve all but two of their focus cities At least a daily SEA and BOS would be nice - they are technically hubs. They could also use a flagship international route or two... Well, scratch "international" off that list....

Oh AZ will be flying in the summer of 2019 indeed. Also, Italy is in huge demand for the season that AZ will operate. UA gets a very high $ for it's non-stop so this might provide some competition, but AZ isn't known for its low fare offerings in the summer really.
