Saw a cross-field approach to 31L around noon today. Later, I saw a 18R departure where they made a 90 degree turn to the West shortly after getting airborne. Wow.

I could be wrong but doesn’t the gate cap expire in 2024 ? The clause the requires WN to surrender a gate at DAL for every gate they add at any other Dallas / Fort Worth area airport expires in 2024 but not the overall DAL 20 gate cap. Wish someone would sue over that gate cap. I could be wrong but...

The new wing proved to be more tricky to integrate. There were teething troubles with engine icing and flutter. Looking back building on the -400 for some more years would have been the better choice. The 747-8 did not pair well with the 787 again with operators like the 767 and the 747-400 had don...

Agreed if DFW has a very loyal flyer base there they would have never shut the hub down. If you are headed east Delta has a very useful network for DFW but otherwise no. DFW has the 3rd biggest skymiles members outside of hubs, behind only BNA and MCI. DFW has a much bigger population than BNA and ...
