Well it is like having two ways of doing one job.
Both have its pros and cons.
A320 for example has separate pitot and static ports on fuselage. Depends on how the manufacturer designs the Aircraft.

Rear Cargo hold is pretty much same for all Pax versions.
The airline I work for has configured a tight 78 Pax on the ATR72, so the Forward hold is indecent.

Here at AMS we usually have bags with gravel/rocks, less of a problem if one ruptures in the hold I guess. But I've seen a certain Q400 operator use stackable blocks of 25 kilos. Yes best to have Ballast loaded with rocks then sand. Sand is a nightmare if it gets into Avionics/recirculation system.

Not necessarily, since the "strike zone" of a shedded blade onto the fuselage is forward of the propeller's rotational plane. The forces that act on the blades are forward (thrust) because the blades are pushing air backwards. Hi, are you sure about this? Wouldn't the high rpm of the Prop...

Regulation mandates modern Turbofan engines to have a containment duct which encloses the Fan cowling area of the engine.
Shouldn't the ice shield also designed as a protection device in case of prop blade liberation.?

You must be referring to an External Hydraulic Cart. It is used in heavy Maintenance eg when the Aircrafts own Hydraulic pumps are not available for maintenance.
They are a source of hydraulic pressurisation.

Quite the contrary on the PW GTF. Max oil consumption is as low as 0.22 qts/hr.

CFM LEAP on the other hand max consumption is 0.45 qts/hr.

All above examples are used on the A320.

Why do all CFM Engines consume a large quantity of oil.
More importantly what is stopping them to incorporate a Deoiler in The Oil Vent subsystem to reduce consumption?

The new ones seem great for reducing drag, must be better than the predecessor too for illumination as they are located much ahead..
I hope Airbus have changed the beam to neutral white.

Yes that is exactly I think the reason is.
In fact if we continue to fill up same pressures as the shorter siblings, it will result in Nose tyre a bit lightly loaded causing Crown wear of the tyre

Looks like Nose wheel on A321 carries a bit less load than the A320.
But what difference would it make if we keep the same pressure for Nose wheel on longer jets. Won't it ensure fleet commonality?

Any idea the trend on widebody families like A332/333 and B772/773?

Normally batteries are located in the Avionics bay which is temperature and pressure controlled. It is not exposed to ambient air. However they are ventilated to ambient by a small vent hole.

APU Inflight start on Battery

APU installed on the A320 has a FL restriction of FL250 when only starting with batteries. However normally if TRU assisted then it can be started upto service ceiling.

What is the reason behind this?
