Interesting.. I didn't expect that they would get it until the end this year or 2020.

My guess is that there will be some restriction on this route, it is very likely that it will be cargo heavy.
When will they receive their first 280t bird?

I believe that Thai tried this before and failed.
VN has the same plan and is still working on their CAT 1 & 2nd SGN airport.

I think it will be good for passengers, they will have choices for that $400 round trip ticket.

I read somewhere that they were working on their CAT 1 rating and planned to fly to the US by the end of this year.I am sure that their -900's can handle SGN-LAX. But is there any chance that they will firm on their options and convert some or all of them to -1000?

It is obvious to me that the plane wasn't moving, and the white van was already there looking. This means that somebody knew what was happening before the pax noticed/started filming the event.

A 1996 vintage router probably would have 10/100 'fast' ethernet, that's right when the transition away from coax was happening. They certainly had Gigabit routers at the time. Moreover, 10/100 is generally for local area networks. It was a data center router that failed so probably not a LAN route...
