So DAL is staying at 195 departures. It's just a reshuffling of the deck. There will be added frequencies to many DAL markets.

I don't care if they need planes elsewhere to cover MAX flying, you still pick the low performers to get rid of to reallocate.

I will just be sad there's not as many AS flights to save your butt nonreving out of DAL (in first class usually no less) while WN is full.

I'm more concerned about getting to the actual terminals from the road. This week on Tuesday night, it took from 10pm-10:45pm to go 1.6 miles into the airport. Every road leading into LAX was complete gridlock.

If AS is really dropping more service and is just down to SFO/LAX/SEA/PDX something has to be done. That would be like 10 flights from 2 gates (5 per) while WN and DL squeeze in 200 flights from 18 gates (11.1 per).

All this talk about DFW-HEL...I would love to see DFW to Scandinavia. Is HEL really better than CPH/ARN/OSL? I love the CPH airport but wasn't too impressed by the others. But I'll still be happy with HEL, lots of good roller coasters in that part of the world :D

You could leave Dallas at 1-2am and arrive in Tokyo at 4-5am. This allows people to connect into DFW all day (including late flights after work) and people to connect out of Tokyo on the early bank of flights. Not to mention it's a lot easier to sleep overnight vs an awful boring 11am-3pm day time ...

Pretty sure all of the 737-300s have been moved on...scrap, sale, lease return, etc. so this is a moot point before you even consider things like training, cost, and a segmented fleet.
