Re: Pakistani Airspace to remain Closed till updated: 5th March, with exceptions

To avoid Pakistani airspace, why some flights from Europe come all the way to Mumbai while other go over Porbander/Gujrat to reach Delhi? I am sure it is added time and fuel.

Is it the decision of ATC or airlines?

Re: Delta Equips 600th Aircraft With Seatback Entertainment

I love the familiarity of using my phone however, it is not very convenient for my NECK and always prefer the bigger seatback screens.

If the seatbacks are little modified to dock my phone, I would use it without any problem....till then I prefer bigger seatback entertainment.

To where? Africa? There are very few US flights to the continent. If there was more profit, they could be flying nonstop already. Even African airlines cannot be profitable. I would say most all flights are low yield, with JNB being an exception but even then not sure. For many southern Europen des...

I think United will soon cease its service to Mumbai if Delta enters the market. :( Why would you think that? That flight has existed for over a decade, through the rise of ME3 options. There is a giant Indian community in NJ, many of which are wealthy, who take the flight that are not going to sud...

I think it will be JFK as there is no direct service to BOM and DL has a strong base to JFK (AI has a non-stop to...

Yuck! 3-3-3 seating in economy. They also have a business class so you can sit in there. This econ layout is pretty much the global standard for the next 30 years so you'll either have to fly business or take the bus. No, I can fly on a 767 with 2-3-2 seating.
