I have flown on Virgin several times and never had any problems with finding overhead space. I usually sit towards the rear of the aircraft. Just make sure you board in the first couple people of your boarding group and you will be fine.

Enjoy the flight! I have never had a bad Virgin experience.

Yes, Skyvector has free approach plate and procedures for the U.S.A. I am not sure they cover Europe though. What country or region do you want charts for?

Serengeti Dante's have worked great for me flying for the last 3 years. They are non polarized and are very comfortable under a headset. I would highly recommend getting a pair for flying, and they will last for years!

I like flying on cloudy, smooth days where the climbs and descents are in IMC and cruise is in the clear with cool cloud formations below. It is always fun to end a flight with an ILS approach almost down to minimums. :)
