My aunt and uncle were supposed to be on that flight but she got into an argument with a person at the hotel they were staying at and got to the airport too late to get on.

First post after a long time lurking. Modern high bypass jet engines are almost shrouded prop planes where the "prop" is driven by a turbine rather than a reciprocating engine. A modern bypass engine has say a 8 or 10:1 ratio. Not too much Jet there, more fan / prop. Would it make sense to separate ...Jump to post
