It's sad to see the 763 leave but I think that the 339 is the best fit.
I wouldn't order any Boeing product at the moment and the 339 can be delivered pretty soon as well.

List of rare aircraft types that you can still fly on

I was wondering if there's any current list of rare aircraft types that are still in service and what routes they're used on. Just looked up if Motor Sich was still existing and if they still operate their old An24 and was happy to see that that's the case. But as we're seeing a rather quick transit...

I wouldn't be too surprised if Russia accidentally intercepts a few EU airliners in the future for some political leverage.
Europe is a nice idea but a very weak and dependent region. I don't even expect any serious reaction to Belarus now.

Re: Why do American Airlines use PHL as their main East Coast hub instead of JFK?

JFK is much more constraint and much more competitive than you'd like a hub to be. With a lot of O&D traffic for New York it just doesn't make much sense to hand out seats to connecting passengers. I've only ever flown to JFK once on the nonstop DL107 service from FRA and that was when I was sta...

I don't think they would go for the 338. That wouldn't make much sense to me. I rather see them order the 321 XLR for less popular 332 routes and use the 789 for more popular 332 routes.

Emirates' fleet policy has been completely insane since they retired the 332. When you just operate two massive aircraft types of just had to backfire at some point because there are so many markets that do not need this sort of capacity.
EK will become a very different airline in the next years.
