Re: Least known airlines you've flown on

The beautiful little airline Motor Sich from Ukraine.
Before COVID and the horrible war I had the chance to take 3 An24 flights within Ukraine: LWO-IEV, IEV-ODS, ODS-IEV.
I was hoping to get another chance to fly them again...

Delta had been and remains to be a fleet mess. I guess they grab anything with wings if they think it's a good deal. At least it keeps the industry interesting and I guess it's so many frames that it still makes some economic sense

DUS still serves a very populated area so I could still see a smaller longhaul base there for service to Nor...

Re: Condor adding LAX/SFO/BOS summer seasonal

Condor is more and more following Air Berlin's long haul model but they do it significantly better. Their US network has become very impressive and going for non-leisure destinations like JFK and making it work is somewhat surprising to me but I'm happy to see it. It's interesting that they have a b...

It's just a matter of time till the Gulf states crumple under their established culture of abuse and human rights violations. List of rare aircraft types that you can still fly on

I was wondering if there's any current list of rare aircraft types that are still in service and what routes they're used on. Just looked up if Motor Sich was still existing and if they still operate their old An24 and was happy to see that that's the case. But as we're seeing a rather quick transit...

JFK is much more constraint and much more competitive than you'd like a hub to be. With a lot of O&D traffic for New York it just doesn't make much sense to hand out seats to connecting passengers. I've only ever flown to JFK once on the nonstop DL107 service from FRA and that was when I was sta...
