Swissair was quite happy with their DC10s as they performed quite well...
Later they got the MD11 to exchange the eldering DC10s but I think they never were contented with it becuase the MD11 never reached the performance that was promised before... rgds

You must have mixed both up... sometimes an A330 does not differ quite a lot from an A32x when you stand far away from it.

Looking For Some Information About The 737-900ER

As far as I know it will be flying in 2008 or so. There is also an order by Lion Air from Indonesia of about 30 orders and another 30 options or so. Not quite sure so correct me if I am wrong.

Personally I see a future for both aircraft which fit excellent in their concept.
In my eyes it would be a mistake to move to an all airbus fleet and they have a lot of 737 so why get rid of them?

it is really a shame LH is not serving australia anymore but i think codesharing with SQ is more economical for them.
