Re: Why doesn't Boeing build regional jet?

I think regional flying is dying a slow death, honestly. Flying into these markets is becoming harder and harder to justify, especially since COVID. From Boeing's standpoint, R&D on a whole new airframe is expensive, especially for an uncertain market. Boeing made a wise choice to stay out of t...

EI pulling BDL is unfortunate but not surprising. I love my home airport but always thought LHR would be a better option. I'll be curious to see moving forward if that comes to pass with BA or B6. NW tried BDL to AMS years ago with state funding and when the money ran out, so did NW. BDL does not h...

For MIA, I'm surprised they are adding TPA and not adding BNA. I'm also surprised they are adding 4x HOU, but nothing from DAL. Interesting choices. Not really surprising at all. TPA is a big station for WN and it offers a somewhat more relevant set of connecting markets -- it unlike BNA has non-st...

I believe its possible Mint will be offered on BDL-LAX/SFO at some point. More than half of BDL's passengers are business related, once business travel demand picks up on top of the wealthy metro area I could see Mint working out.
