Thanks for the reply so far everyone. Im also interested in what are the minimum requirements in technology to be a screener. There would have to be some. In terms of screen power, and corrections. understanding of DSLR and photo processing would also be high on the list as a minimum. Or isn't ther...
Jump to postSo tonight I uploaded a shot of an Airtractor. The screener said to fix the over-sharpening and the category. And said the following: Correct all listed flaws and reupload as "priority" (first in database). Thanks". So I reload it with the corrections and now another screener...

Jump to postHi Dave, I took a look at your rejected photo. The screener left a message on why it was rejected for color, "Not double, but strong blue cast" When we reject for color, we do put the reason for the color rejection. Please take the time to read the Acceptance Guide. It is very useful if yo...
Jump to postHi, Sorry you’re having issues. Exposure and contrast is always going to be a tough rejection since like you mention, it can be a calibration issue for sure. All it takes is a monitor being too bright or too dim. We have certain guidelines on what equipment we should use when screening. If you give ...
Jump to postHello, I have uploaded two airlines photos with prior screening by new rules from 23.Aug. but both are deprioritized. There is no photos of both airlines at the airport even in Korea on database as mentioned in Q&A so I wonder deprioritized reason. Boeing 747-41R JetOneX (Longtail Aviation) REG...

This happens sometimes, go ahead and submit it priority. In comments to screeners mention that it was accepted, and is stuck in processing.
Cheers,
Daniel

Think we could get this one without the dust spot on the sensor? Should be an easy fix.
Hello, This picture got rejected twice(appeal) for being not level(CW rotation) but in my opinion it's level. Maybe someone can help! Thanks and kind regards, Tom https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/airliners/9/4/5/6484549.jpg?v=v406a883f025 Hi Tom, Go ahead and appeal that image. It looks level. ...
Jump to postThe prio guidelines now say that if it's a first visit for a type and airline it qualifies for prio. As a general rule, if we don't have certain type of aircraft in the db from that airline at that airport, it can get prio screening. Hi Daniel, Thank you for your reply. Would you be able to comment...
Jump to postHi PanAm_DC10, last year a uploaded a 77W of Egyptair at AMS (an upgrade from the regular 737s - COVID-related). There were no other photos of an MS 77W at AMS in the database yet, so I uploaded it with priority. However the upload was deprioritized, but it I read your response it should be screene...
Jump to posti have flicker i uploaded a few photos on there name donald moore It would be easier to provide a link for image. As far as settings and equipment. Hi Conner,
I've looked at two photos you mentioned. I would have to agree with the screening results. Take a look at the site to see what kind of photos we expect. The FAQ is good guide to begin with.
Cheers,
Daniel
Based on the available acceptance rules, we need to clear up the registration info issues. The current guide says "If there are more than one aircraft in the photo, type the registration of the most visible aircraft (the registration(s) of the other(s) can be mentioned in the caption field).&qu...

Per the guidelines the uploader has to own the photo and/or have permission form the photographer to upload the photo. Circumstances happen where it not easy to verify ownership. We do our best with the time we have. If can't verify ownership, we take the photo off the site. We are looking into both...

Classic. Attack the messenger and ignore the real issue. If the photos were screened correctly, and more importantly, consistently, this would be a non issue. Thus, my original question. Also, important to keep in mind, the content creators are volunteers too. No one is attacking the messenger. It'...
Jump to postKas - Thank you for taking the time to reply. It does not go unnoticed that you (and Jehan) are the only active screeners in the forums. For the "normal" roll outs, they don't post any first flight dates. Since things can change, and stuff can happen.
Jump to postThere was a broken A380 at LAX, the one at SEA was the replacement for it,but it had to stop for fuel because of high winds enroute.
