The autopilot is a workload management tool - it's there to free up capacity to enable you to focus on other tasks for a successful outcome. If your engine goes bang at 30W, with cascading failures knocking out some of your hydraulics and electrics, it really matters not one iota that you've flown ...

Which Spanish ones? I think ALC is one. MAD too. PMI I think so. But I recall using Ryanair recently in SCQ (the only airline that do not uses jet bridges), SVQ or VLC and we did not use jet bridges. The tail looks like a -200 tail. No dorsal fin (as far as we can see) and the part missing in the middle of the leading edge would be the place where the HF antenna cable would attach...
