Jump to postThis has been covered many times here. There are plenty of EAS cities where a two hour drive in the summer can become a much longer, more treacherous drive in winter on snow, over mountain passes etc. The EAS system not only gives alternatives to a dangerous drive, but it can provide communities ac...

Just curious, will this result in lay offs? F9 probably has enough attrition in phone customer service agents that they won't need layoffs. Some staff will be moved to the chat service, and over time (maybe as little as six months) sufficient staff will depart on their own. F9 area is contract and ...

Jump to postI'm disappointed that CRJ-200s are coming back to AA, but I'm glad for the Air Whisky pilots that will keep their jobs. Jump to postIf the FAA mandates pitch or width too high which reduces the number of seats, airlines can simply start ripping out the bathrooms for extra seating. No law says there are bathroom minimums and not having more than 1 bathroom is not a safety issue in any way.

Jump to postCardude2 wrote:what will happen then when mesa dissapears? will AA take some or all of the CR9s and transfer them to someone like envoy?
It’s likely pilot shortage. Looking at past flights, it’s been operated by Mesa. Just a few weeks ago, Mesa’s CEO Ornstein stated publicly at a congressional hearing the company lost 5% of the pilots on its seniority list in just one month! Not only that, CRJ pilots are now also eligible for Aviate ...

Jump to postAA has 50 XLRs on order. I’m sure Europe and Hawaii are both going to get some use out of them. Jump to postThey are probably getting some damages. Getting damages from Boeing and not having to run (most-likely) loss-making longhaul routes this winter puts AA in a pretty good spot. Absolutely incredible! I cannot for the life of me figure out how that damage was done to the Metroliner and didn’t take out the entire tail section.
