The time isnt right for them to change just yet, they are doing really well with the current model. Once those 757s get too uneconomical, they will be forced to order some new planes. That is when they will look at options. Most probably 737-10MAX will replace them I bet.

There's been a switch with the allocations. 7211 was for TUI Belgium but it's been re-allocated to TUI UK, so first one for the UK branch. The next train should have the first Max for Fuzhou then ealry October will see the first Max frames for Fiji Airways, Cayman and Air Chang'an arriving. Im losi...

The a320 is a beautiful plane in a simple way. Although nothing is as pretty as a A340-600.

return on investment research is coming back not worth it. It costs a lot to build a new plane these days but 50 seater will be a low price meaning you need to sell more units than the market has.

It's ambitious to go away from the LCC airport tag that it has. I guess they are going to try and take LGWs spot and get that second runway built.

The 737 design is at the edge of its limits, a fantastic design, but to get longer range out of it, they would need to change so much that wouldnt be cost effective vs a new sheet design plane.

Its a shame, the SSJ100 is a fine aircraft, it just doesnt have the support/maintenance and reliability. Interjet have probably lost quite a bit of money on this gamble with the SSJs

I actually like it, its nice a premium and the flybe in smaller titles so when you board you clearly see it. Its different. They need to go after premium UK customers and businessmen and I think this suits them.

Its based off popularity of Airliner. So 757s get right of way, followed by 747s and then A340-600s. Thats why Virgin have been able to keep operating.

Surely the -1000 will be eating into Cseries. Although a re-engined upgrades CRJ700/705 would surely be a winner for the US regionals providing the scope clauses wouldnt change?

Wow, its uninspiring. This proves the Max-10 is it for the 737 frame. It makes me believe the "797" will be a NSA but with family members that go past the A321 in capacity and range. It cannot not be right ?

Whats everyones thoughts on why they are staying with Airbus? It would be very easy to switch over to 738s. Is it because they want to tell boeing to keep their prices reasonable or are they testing how the a320 works profit wise?
