Hey all! I drive by the airport every day and noticed that there was an American 772 sitting at the gate area. I checked the LAS website, as well as flight aware and I can't find any information on the flight. Can anyone tell me if this is permanent? I know they were using 788 on LAS-MIA for a while...Jump to post
I've found quite a few options, some of which sound plausible. This is what I've been able to find: FLL FLG BEG BOS SCL RSW ORD PIT BOS LGA CMH CLE COS ROC EWR EDI GLA MKE MAA MAD MAN MCO DEN DES I'm sure there are dozens of possible routes with just these routes, not to mention any that I haven't f...Jump to post

What is the probability of seeing an A322? Would Airbus even be interested in stretching the A321? I could see it replacing the aging 757-300 models. But with the -300 selling less than 60 frames total, I personally don't think Airbus would spend the money on development to sell less than 100 frames...Jump to post

It's gotta be a # of hours threshold I image?? Otherwise a 10pm flight delayed to 1am would count? I believe after 8 hours (don't quote me because it haven't worked in the industry in almost a decade), the airline is legally obligated to begin the process of refunds, rescheduling, and/or rerouting ...Jump to post
Does any have a video of the incident? It'd be interesting to see exactly how it landed to cause damage like that.Jump to post
It also looks like Pan Am service Vienna in the late 80', according to this: http://www.departedflights.com/PA040388international.htmlJump to post
Delta started flying to VIE back 5/21/07, according to the route announcement on their website. The last flight took place on 10/5/08. So it lasted almost a year and a half. I'm sure the US economy crash played a major part in them terminating the route. It's surprising that they haven't restarted i...Jump to post

Wasn't Norwegian complaining about load factors out of LAS from the start? Then they used the excessive heat as an excuse to make their first round of cuts. It's not a surprise. BA and VS have increased frequency to LHR daily, and I noticed VS is offering a random second daily flight on 7/14 with a ...Jump to post

https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/news/2019/06/07/louisvilles-muhammad-ali-international-airport-unveils-logo/1378182001/ They revealed the new logo of the airport. At least they get to change it out in a nice place. Not like northern canada in the winter. If by "nice place" you mean 120F/49C+ temperature at ground level, due to heat radiating back off the apron's concrete..... sure. It's unseasonably cool in Vegas right now, only 85F. So right now i...Jump to post

The one with the KLM 744 in the foreground is from 1/7/19. It was here as a charter for CES.
What is odd to me is how many EU carriers try their hand at a LAS route, while KE has been the only Asian carrier for 2 decades! (despite the tourism and large Asian population here) HU has service to PEK as well. And I thought I read somewhere that AA applied for NRT service, but I haven't heard a...Jump to post

UA's Battleship livery and their Blue Tulip were always my favorite. I would have to JetKIWI. I'm sure they've already started laying the ground work to rebrand the airline with slight modification. I would say B6 is moving into Europe. That has to be the big announcement, especially since they are taking so long to make the announcement. Side note, isn't B6 the reason BF had to take "Blue" out of their name? I highly doubt B6 didn't already know they would be in parts of Europe that ...Jump to post

- Seats are designed so we can decrease pitch while keeping legroom constant. Spotted a wee typo there. Incorrect, as far as I've found from the article I posted. These premium economy seats include 38 inches of legroom, foot rests and adjustable headrests. Copy and pasted directly from the article.Jump to post

I did a quick search, and couldn't find anything on the topic. With AC quickly repainting most of their aircraft with the new livery, as well as ACExpress, do we expect them to rebrand the Rouge and Jetz names as well? I tried looking in to it, but I couldn't find anything.Jump to post
At this point, it seems like they are pulling an F9 and kind of just throwing a dart at a US map to pick new destinations. First LAS, which still doesn't make much sense to me, now MCO. Disney is a great vacation spot, but Disney Paris is much closer. Even Disney Tokyo is closer. I don't think Disne...Jump to post
I find it strange that people think WN will fail in Hawaii. In addition, Las Vegas isn't JUST gambling. Plus there is gambling in a massive number of US cities other than Las Vegas; why is Vegas "worse" in terms of "purity" than, say, Detroit (which has 3 casinos) or anywhere in Illinois (which also has casinos, albeit riverboats if I re...Jump to post
