I first flew a CR2, US Airways Express (Mesa), PHL-STL in 1998. A boxed meal was served and mints were passed out prior to landing. So much has changed since then, I don't hate the fall the of the CR2.

Considering Pan Am had the A320 on order and was a member of the A340 advisory council we can likely say they were going to be invested in the Airbus family during the 1990s. Why wouldn't they remain loyal to Boeing? Pan Am's credit was awful. Airbus was trying to expand into the North American mar...

I have wondered where the dividing line was between the Pan Am Atlantic & Pacific divisions, particularly regarding India since Pan Am flew around the world. From this it sounds like India was with Atlantic since it went to Delta. The next stop east was Bangkok, which I assume was Pacific and s...

Pan Am opened foreign national bases in Bangkok, Bombay, Delhi, Istanbul, Nairobi, and Warsaw in 1985. The FA union, IUFA, made sure that these FA's could not operate trans oceanic flights. I believe BKK went to United in 1986. WAW was open until Delta closed the FRA hub in 1997. Some of the WAW FAs...

Jump to postHow many long haul routes has AA dropped from JFK over the years? They're looking more like TWA at JFK in the '90's.
Jump to postTrans World One was introduced in 1995 replacing First & Ambassador. That was the final interior update. TWA 800 had that interior. Prior to that, I think the last update was in the late '70s or early '80s.

Please explain.
Pinnacle had a CR2 written off in PVD in 2012. It was severely damaged by fire an involving a piece of ground equipment which caused the damage to the electrical system.
