QF just needs to add some codeshares to the MH flights. The FF earn on MH for QF FF's is near non existant. Now that JQ Asia is becoming less convenient something might eventually happen in this space.

If 777 partners, or whatever Bonza/Flair are, are going to keep this arrangment going forward maybe they'd be better with a couple of Hybrid white aircraft which the decals could be applied accoringly. Shorly wouldn't look so tackey. The tail looks quite normal though.

Maybe BNE-LAX needs to go to AA and QF just add their code to the flight. A 788 would have to better 332 for that length of flight. Don't know if AA 788's have Y+

That’s not true about status credits. Accrual on QR (or BA etc.) is significantly lower than QF. Plus QR don't honour the One World/Qantas cards with access to their business class lounge in Doha. Does anyone know if the rules for PAX screening has changed in NSW based on the size and weight of the operating aircraft? My local port is non screened yet QF is now showing a Q400 once per week, every Tuesday comencing 15th Aug, in place of the usual Q300 on QF2009/QF2010.

With the upcoming design realese this year with PE class on the Project Sunrise aircraft for QF, they're looking to make this with 40inch pitch. Not overally revolutionary is it when you have Air NZ and JL with 40inch pitch currently in PE. Surely if they could make it work a 42inch would be better...

It was just decided when Australian Airlines(TN) merged with Qantas that all the domestic mainline numbers would be renumbered to commence from QF400. My prediction is FJ CBR- NAN. Probably a long shot, but I was on a FJ flight in November and Andrew Barr (chief Minister of ACT) was also on it. The Canberra Times ran an article the next day saying they were looking at it.

From my understanding of the ACCC decision regarding QF/CX codesharing, is that they would have permitted a block codeshare agreement. Re QF to HKG I think they should leave it to CX with codeshares on all their flights to AU. CX have a better coverage of Australian ports (pre COVID) to HKG anyway. I don't think, sadly, HKG will be what it once was. QF lounge also, permanently closed in HKG with their PAX using CX's lounges anyway....
