Rather upsetting that Norse Atlantic has snobbed the lower upstate community and shifted its OSL plans from SWF to JFK. The route was eagerly anticipated by a lot of people I know between Albany and Yonkers and we have been left behind. Maybe (hopefully) they will fail at JFK and come crawling back...

I highly doubt it will be anything to do with Australia. The country is not currently set up for larger amounts of tourism and all the current flights are pretty damn empty.

Good initiative by KLM, well done to them, but it got me thinking of the waste that occurs in ferrying empty planes for servicing to far flung places and not being able to sell seats on such flights. An example is BA sending their 380's to MNL & back, they know well in advance they will do this...

Well if everyone in HVN is going to full planes to Florida then good for them but I bet as soon as another airline puts florida on sale out of BDL then Avelo will be out of passengers. The Florida market is so insanely price sensitive they will drive 45 mins to save $12 on airfare.

This rule is stupid and only serves to take money away from the French tax funds. If someone in Nice wants to fly to New York they wont be able to go via Paris so instead will book via Amsterdam or Frankfurt or London on a foreign carrier.
