Last big purchase was a few years ago, I bought an Alienware 17 R5 laptop, which now is being used more as my gateway into my work VPN rather than a gaming device. I've had a few minor purchases since then, for the laptop, such as a RAM upgrade to 32GB and a 2TB SSD drive.

The BF2 servers that were 32 vs 32 and the only rule was pistols or knives only were so much fun. My few rare kills as a medic with the shock paddles and the taunting " Oh you just got paddled" afterwards wad great.

I was on QF7 Saturday, which was delayed when a catering truck got "too close to the plane" (words of the FO who did the flying). I think they had to change planes, unless FR24 was not accurate.

I'd say that you'd see JFK & ORD Sunrise flights before any to Europe/UK, given that this would eliminate the hated LAX transfer, much quicker & easier to clear CPB at the final destination with no TSA ordeal. Though the NZ flights to ORD & planned New York flights will be the next best...

A while back I booked my Christmas flights to EVV ( SYD-DFW-EVV). The flight to EVV was originally booked as a CR9. Last night I got a flight change notice from QF stating that AA has changed the flight to an E75. Much better plane IMHO. Last year the CR9s I was on just felt "tired" to me.

I just flew EK413 CHC-SYD. As we were taxing out, I thought I saw an ATR and A320 in partial NZ liveries, no titles or logos. It was dusk, so maybe I was not seeing things properly. Does NZ do maintenance at CHC or could these be end of lease birds heading out soon?

Ah. Where are you headed? Either RSW or EVV. This July I'm going through DFW again to ORD. Oh yea well if you're going to RSW or EVV that makes sense...but ORD...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Easier transit and less hassle as stated before. AA makes it easy to get to ORD from DFW and it's a shorter flight than from LAX.

But which US carrier are you flying when you connect at LAX? AA. But for me, the fact of the matter DFW is both easier to transit through and more convenient as DFW offers a non-stop flight to where I need to go. LAX does not offer that, with any carrier. Ah.
