RE: REMINDER/AUTOMATIC Software

Thank you buddy.

Yes, i know about it. But it does not serve my purpose.

Firstly i cant put a date or time in it as i want, as it has daily, weekly or monthly selection.

Secondly, i cant pick a particular document to start, but it starts the program.

RE: Speed Brake Lever ---- A310

Hi Jetlagged.

Do u mean to say that notches r there to keep the lever in its place otherwise the lever is going to change its place ??

I think there r some other reasons than this, because there is no mechanical/aerodynamic load on lever as it gives an electrical signal only, to EFCU.

Hi.

Can some one pl tell y the speed brake lever has detents ( eleven in number ) and not smooth like on Boeings ?

Does eleven detents also means that the spoilers hv same 11 discrete positions ??

Air2gxs,
so in yr first post it was not for A310 but general that there r mech links.

In A310, I guess some sensors installed in brake pedal giving input to the brake module, which in turn applies brakes. If its like this, then what if v dont hv elect. pwr ?

EPR Ind. Scale Range?

Hi.

On B747 a/c ,the EPR indicator has scale starting from 0.8. With eng. off the ind reads 1.00. At idle and ahead, they go above 1.00, understandably. Is there any chance for EPR to go below 1.00 ? If NO, then why ind starts from 0.8 ?? Or is it just a design feature ?

Thanx.
