Assuming the Max ever gets certified again has AA made a decision about future deliveries? I'm assuming for this year AA would be very happy not to take any more Max deliveries. Are the 321NEOs going right into service? AA has not indicated they won't be taking the MAX, when delivered. Thirteen MAX...Jump to post
Confusing. But AA will still keep 77W instead. The 772 will likely be retired. The original news source never said B772 fleet will be retired. It simply said AA is conducting a fleet review to discuss possibilities of the INCOMING B788/789 to replace the B772. That means B772 will be with AA for fe...Jump to post

They have 15 A332 and 9 A333. The A333 are retired I mixed my numbers up. Still no point in keeping a fleet of 15 around and doesn't change the fact that at the end of Monday, all A330s will be parked in the desert. A333 is official, A332 will become official soon. No. A333, N274AY is still in El S...Jump to post
It appears that the A330-200s are going as well. Last one heads to the desert tomorrow for storage. No point in keeping 9 aircraft that don't fit with anything else. They have 15 A332 and 9 A333. the article said: E190 B767 officially retired, B757 and A333 accelerated but not saying bout its inmediately . PSA operates 31 CRJ200 right now, 19 going. Another hail event in TUL requiring inspections of aircraft according to JonNYC And another hail event forecasted today with destructive hail possible. This website just updated it says 127 737 have been reconfigured as of now. And 5 321.
Which 5 321’s only shows 150, 161, and 162
NYCAAer wrote:SXDFC wrote:Are there some 738s that wont be coming back?
76 older 738s are being retired, presumably some will be replaced by the 24 737 Max 8s that are grounded, whenever they are fixed and ready to fly.
Without knowing all the factors that go into AA's decision to park aircraft at ROW, I think it's presumptuous for any of us to assume the A332s have finished their service with AA. I envision AA watching the marketplace and calculating how they can employ those assets (aircraft, spare parts, trained...Jump to post
270 still at PIT. Ferry flight this morning was cancelled. Edit: My bad, looks like it did leave this morning. That was A332, N281AY which was supposed to go to ROW, but did not. How much longer are the A332s hanging around? I know they aren’t supposed to leave anytime soon but now they are a slight oddball in the fleet. AA's fleet of fifteen A330-200s range from 6 yrs to 11 yrs in age, kind of young to retire. My theory is, AA is going to park them until they see how quick...Jump to post
I noticed that JonNYC has posted that AA is committed to receiving A321NEOs scheduled for delivery this year. Anybody know if the same is true for the B788s scheduled for delivery this year? And yes, I realize with the coronavirus, schedules may slip. Thanks!Jump to post
So to clarify, does this mean that the revised 757 retirement date of next May I think it was of 2021 is now scrapped and these birds are being retired ASAP now? All AA B757s have been parked. Nine are parked at TUL and I believe are, for the time being, considered short term storage. The balance h...Jump to post
AA's next to last B767-300, N347AN is now enroute to ROW. N348AN is the last of this fleet type. Makes one feel old when you're around to greet new aircraft, only to blink and find yourself watching as they fly into retirement. And yes, N348AN is now enroute to ROW. Good call. N273AY and N276AY are headed to ROW now. 3-30. Also, A332 N290AY is headed to PIT today, 3-30.
Looks like AA sent another five B737-800s to ROW for retirement. I believe they have 77 of the 1999-2001 vintage -800s, of which they have retired 22 in the last week. Counting at this time of the day (5:45 pm, PST), the numbers reflect a total of twelve B737-800s parked at ROW today, for who-knows...Jump to post

AA sent two more B737-800's to ROW today, Mar.27, acft N909AN and N913AN. Looks like these are both 20 years old. How old are their oldest 738s, and are there any other 738s at ROW for storage?
