No, it will fly again and be a successful model. Too many airlines need new replacement aircraft, and Airbus does not possess the capacity to fill the void if the MAX didn't fly.

I've been watching it. Some times it will fly a number of PHL-SEA flights, then gets routed on other A321 routes. I haven't seen a particular pattern.

Four are in service, fifth acft is at CLT getting prepped for service. I don't know the status of the remaining three.

Hi from the UK. Does anyone have info on 789 N835AN? Apparently it flew DFW to Tulsa on June 5th, but diverted to San Antonio? and hasn't moved since. Is this correct, and what's the problem? Thank you. There was a lightning strike that caused damage to the aircraft and it is being repaired in SAT....

Yes they have a short term (and long term) storage programs with all the required MX activities.

Given how large the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale to Europe market is, I am surprised there aren't non-stop flights to Athens from there. Any chance AA adds MIA-ATH on a 788? After the MD-80, the next aircraft that will leave the fleet is the Embraer 190, next year I believe. Then it will be the last 767s that will leave the fleet and as mentioned before they will all be gone by then end of 2021. What airports still don’t have combined-location AA ops since the merger? N773XF was ferried to GYR via TUS today in Frontier colors with ViaSat Installed. Must've come in from San Salvador for immigration. Only N843NN is still at Tulsa, but I don't know if that is because of Oasis or for some other reason. All other Oasis problem aircraft are back flying.

The final B788, N816AA requiring the PE mod arrived at PAE tonight. Another B788, N801AC should be returning to service tomorrow (my estimate). The mod of N815AA continues in work. They are running about 10 days now for the PE mod.
