I had an aborted take off once -- starting rolling and was probably more than 50kts when pilot breaked hard. Obviously people were a bit alarmed. He came on and said a warning light appeared about a door being open, checked, no problem, took off and that was that.

I somehow suspect it's a little more than just somebody getting a bruised arm.

Could it be because 4 FAs were injured enough so that they might not be able to perform their duties in case of an emergency, thus the plane needs to land and get a new crew?

This only brings them up to the average level of current day J. While it is an improvement over what they've got right now, it is hardly very nice. By the time they're done with upgrading these their competition is probably going to upgrade their seats again.

I think all <acronym title="Philippine Airlines">PR</acronym> has to be taken with a grain of salt, and if it is indeed 3.5 million a year per aircraft... who in their right mind will order the Airbus? Airbus will seriously need to give the plane away for anyone to take it if those numbers are true....
