Re: U.S. Airline Club Lounges Locations in 1987

Frequent flyers and business travelers would kill for such a line up today. There are a lot of mid-sized and smaller markets that no longer have any club plus that Int'l lineup would be amazing. The main reason is there is very minimal DL service to YVR from DL hubs not located on the west coast (MSP,DTW,even ATL). DTW is just 1x weekly for example. However there is usually at least 5 daily flights on DL between each of those MSP, DTW,ATL hubs and SEA. There are also numerous DL flights to ...

To be fair, you can still get from point A to point B on several different airlines. So there are options, even if the flight is not non-stop. Re: Market Surpression within Markets

Suppression in air markets most certainly exists. I am surprised so many think otherwise. A big reason is that you don’t have a true free market. In the US you only have 3 large legacy airlines that, outside a few large markets, don’t generally like to compete with spoke flights from an opponents hu...

Let’s face it, with all of the new US-HND flights being added in 2020, the vast majority of pax remaining on a US-NRT flight will likely be connecting once they get to NRT.
