Air India Operating 788 on BOM-EWR

Few weeks ago AI started operations on DEL-EWR (https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/ai105) The equipment on this route was scheduled to be a 788. However, from 13th Oct, it seems as if AI has upguaged DEL-EWR to 77W and downguaged BOM-EWR to 788. (https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/ai...

Do AIs B788s have crew rest bunkers installed as they use them on DEL-SYD/MEL nonstop services too hence just wondering? Yes. the last 5 or 6 dreamliners have crew rests. AI tries to schedule Australia/ US flights on those specific planes. AI has actually moved the Dreamliner to AI 191/144 BOM-EWR ...

Today's (March 11) UA EWR- BOM flight took off on time but just returned back to EWR after being air borne for about 4-5 hours.

Is this a technical fault or something to do with India banning entry of foreigners cause of COVID-19?
