Was expecting this tbh. Out of curiosity are there also plans to make BOM daily on 77L?

I don't expect this in the near future . They've been very clear with their Winter only strategy for BOM. Apparently they just don't have the numbers during the other months.

Re: UPDATED: Delta announces JFK-BOM

I disagree. For Y, Emirates and Qatar hard and soft product beat DL hands down, every time. Whatever premium that DL hopes to get for a "non-stop" flight will be offset by superior product and service on EK and Qatar. Skymiles loyal members may, however, patronize DL in Y despite a higher...

Re: Air Canada Summer 2019 long-haul changes

I still cannot understand why YYZ-BOM has been made seasonal. Looks like it's back in W19 but the frequency has been reduced from 4x week to 3x week. Looks like they're putting the 77L on this route again. Is the demand and yield to BOM really that low? Especially with 9W ending operations? https://...

Re: Jet Airways: Shutdown

Just a shower thought: Given that the principal beneficiaries of Jet's below cost fares and on board largesses were Indians residing abroad, shouldn't they try to crowd source a fund to rescue their beloved carrier? After all Indians are among richest immigrant groups wherever they live. They shoul...

Re: Why Are Bus Boardings so Common in Europe and so Rare in the USA?

I grew up in DOH before the new airport came into existence. It was all bus boarding back then. QR had special busses for First and Business class passgengers that ferried them to the Premium Terminal. Boy was it horrible being outside during the summers with 50 deg C temperatures and more than 80% ...

What happened to their India flights? I know they were postponed but have they started yet?

They're showing up on their website, but I don't see flights beyond March 2019. Was hoping that the new SFO/LAX flights would provide another option for travel to India from US West Coast.

Re: Air Canada cancels YYZ BOM from Summer 2019

It's yet to be known of the route is fully canceled, or just moving to seasonal. In order to maintain their S19 flying program, they had to free up roughly 1 frame, which they did by cancelling BOM andthebdirect EZE flight, returning it to a tag from SCL. They were running a 77L during S18 and swit...

Air Canada cancels YYZ BOM from Summer 2019

AC has stopped taking reservations for it's 4x week route starting 1APR19. Any ideas why? I thought YYZ-BOM was a success! The flight I took back in August this year certainly was 100% full in all cabins.

Bayfront Park. Gets you good views of takeoffs from 1s and great views of landings on the 28s. There's a 2 hour free parking next to the Marriott.
Location and directions here.

Do bring a jacket. It can get cold. Especially this weekend since there's a good chance of rain and strong winds.
