Re: Mobile (AL) releases master plan for Brookley site downtown airport

On the Delta desktop website, BFM populates when you search for Mobile. Is DL planning the move to BFM from MOB, or does the website populate non-DL/SkyTeam airports now?

Re: Mobile (AL) releases master plan for Brookley site downtown airport

In any case, PNS will always be more convenient for much of rapidly growing Baldwin County as it is a big plus not having to cross Mobile Bay. That is the case only for the southern half of the county (namely, the beaches). The Eastern Shore (which largely already commutes to Mobile for work) is mu...

Re: Mobile (AL) releases master plan for Brookley site downtown airport

I think it's the logical move and will help attract a few more passengers, but the added expense could be a challenge. Spending that much money for an airport that will only move a few hundred thousand passengers a year could be a problem. While they'll probably get some help from FAA, I doubt FAA ...

Yes, it seems this schedule has a lot of holes!

BFM-DEN/ORD don't show after 4/22 as expected and PNS-ORD/PHL don't show either.

No LFT-DEN or TYR-DEN... several others.

Why would the legacies move from MOB to BFM? Reading the facility descriptions that F9 uses at BFM it seems highly inadequate. They would have to build a new terminal and concourse facility. That is the plan... a new terminal is going to be built for the legacies at BFM. The current terminal that F...

BFM is running pretty much full to/from DEN according to local news and over eighty percent to/from ORD. This is great for an airport and market that is only 3.5 months old. What’s the fastest timeframe Airbus could build up a new A320 line/ plant from scratch and start spitting up frames? Two years? Three?
