New Service To Yeg?

Does anyone know if Horizon or United are still looking into providing service from YEG to DEN or ORD?
I also heard that there were discussions of service to HOU.

Westjet Pay Scales

Would anyone know what employees, such as, a Customer Service Rep. or Flight Attendant at Westjet would get paid compared to one at Air Canada?

Similarly, what would be the difference between someone at Southwest and one the majors in the U.S. be?

Changing Your Seat Assignment?

Would any of you frequent flyers know a sure fire way of getting a not so pleasant ticket counter agent to change your seat assignment? On my last two flights I've either been stuck at the very back in the center seat or finally given a window, but directly over the wing. I've checked in extremely e...

External Video Cameras On A/c's

I've heard that there are some airlines that have external fuselage cameras that allow passengers to view takeoffs & approaches on their PVT. Does anyone know which aircraft & airlines have such a system?

Ticket Agents Asking For ID

I just purchased a ticket to EWR and used a $150 airline credit voucher to pay for part of it. Why did I have to prove to the agent that I was the person named on the credit? Is this a common thing? I've never had to "prove" my identity before whenever I've used a voucher. Has anyone else experience...

RE: Air Canada Continues To Shaft YEG

Great, I for one wouldn't want to take the first flight out in the morning if I didn't have to. Nor would I want to take a late evening flight. Looks like AC can't schedule the proper type of aircraft for the proper time period.

RE: Air Canada Continues To Shaft YEG

At least in my mind YEG should at least get one international flight, be it LHR or FRA. Being a former Edmontonian, I too (like No YYC) have experienced a lot of displeasure with Edmontonians of having to connect through YYC to go overseas. My only suggestion for improved service to YEG is if AC ref...

Which Airline To Santiago, Chile?

If you were given a choice, taking into consideration aircraft type, onboard service, frequency & frequent flyer points, which airline would you choose to take to Santiago? I'm leaving from ORF, so the connecting city wouldn't really matter to me (eg. Miami, Dallas, Houston, New York, Newark). I've ...

RE: What Makes For A Profitable Flight?

As an expatriate living in the states, I find it very sad that the AC reputation is going down into the dumps pretty quick. I used to really enjoy flying with AC and always looked for the red Maple Leaf with the circle on the tail whenever I was abroad. It appears that Air Canada is trying to cut se...

RE: What Makes For A Profitable Flight?

A flight operating at 71% average capacity and AC is saying that the flight isn't profitable! If an airline like AC can't make money on a flight like that then there has got to be something wrong with them. A 71% load factor is pretty good and according to OAG the aircraft used on the YUL-YEG route ...

Club America At MIA

I've booked a 1st class ticket with Air Jamaica through MIA. My travel agent told me that with this ticket I have access to the Club America lounge at the MIA airport. I've never heard of this lounge before? Would anybody have any information on this "Club America"? Is it similar to the other lounge...
