In the UK, the employee would have breached Data Protection laws by obtaining the individual's private number by accessing his employer's IT systems. Then by texting her during the flight is harassment, pure and simple. Ten out of ten to the passenger for retaining the texts and suing the airline. H...

Resizing and DPI

Please could someone share the process flow for saving images with 72 dpi in PS? I tend to go for 200 dpi as it automatically resizes to 1200 by 800 but alot of photographers manage dpi of 72 with greater quality. Something is going wrong! So can the experts explain all?

But what is the local infrastructure like? For example, are new airport hotels being built? Is there a fast transit link to the centre of Istanbul? While I appreciate that IST had issues, at least it was functional!

Unpaid wages claims come under the legal heading of "unlawful deduction of wages". These claims are heard by Employment Tribunals. Are you a Solicitor? I was suggesting an alternative avenue to an Employment Tribunal to prevent paying excessive Court Costs for processing the claim. http:/...

Some of the employee protections, particularly in respect of unfair dismissal have been quietly but effectively gutted in the last couple of years. The way this was achieved was by raising the filing fee for bringing a claim for unfair dismissal to 1200 pounds (heck bringing a claim of unpaid wages...

What I would like to know is... what is a real GROSS pay amount for one of these staff? I've seen "take home" pay described as around £1000 (why did you accept a job in London even 6 years ago for that rate?). I would like to see this gross figure with all payments included for an average...

As some may know, the next G20 Summit is being held in Hamburg in the first week of July. Can any local photographers give any advice on the arrangements, e.g. will photographers be welcome within reason or is the whole airport going to be cordoned off? Also, any ideas on the likely departure runway?

And by the way 'redress' is not always the best conclusion especially if your 7 night holiday is shortened by two nights. But what other option is there? I actually find your comments pathetic. I can't see the issue. Aircraft goes into the hangar; the engineers do an engine drop and replace engine with the possible issues. The aircraft is returned to service after a satisfactory engine run and sign off. In the interim, the engine with possible issues is inspected and the if there is cause ...

The Paint Bay needs an upgrade and BA Management are reluctant to pay.

Third party work is probably screwed down in terms of final costs, hence cost effective. No employees with pension payments accruing.

Photographers may receive fees for one off publications, syndicated publications or commercial work, e.g. Annual Reports. However, can you make a living out of it? I would say not as the demand just isn't there. I know I someone will disagree but in the main, it is a hobby the vast majority.

You won't get a refund for an equipment switch. The majority of airline tickets sold in England & Wales have (legal) conditions of travel which you agreed to when you purchased your ticket. Having flown on a RJ85, it is cramped. As for a window seat, if you aren't at the very front or rear, you aren't going to see much due to the profile of the wing and engine!

But the DPI does vary. Anet photographers who display their images on Flickr manage to reduce their DPI to 72dpi whereas mine come out at 500 dpi plus.
