I think being 10 minutes from some non-built up beaches is kind of a key component of this.

Driving from MLB to Disney on 192 is a nightmare. 32 lights last I counted.

BFE has been towed to the east side of KMLB which tells me it’s been picked clean and is ready for scrapping. This is the area where the Transaero 744’s saw their demise.

Saw her come in. Did a loop off the coast and did the base leg over Palm Bay. Right before she landed an MD-11 overflew MLB from the south headed to COF.

The 744 is sitting on the northwest side of MLB. Past all the Embraer buildings.

Still one Transaero 744 on the SE side. I can't get a reg.

I can confirm there is only two. One was scrapped in a couple days in the fall. I'll get the regs soon.

Is EI-XLK being broken up? That one was taken out of service at just 14 years old.


I'll try to drive by with some binoculars. One was broken up in the fall and another flew to Ireland for painting.

For business travel MLB is awesome compared to the kid zoo that is MCO. Easy security and parking etc. Hell, free refills on coffee. Fast wifi. And for an unknown period you can eyeball 4 ex Transaero 744's.

The white plane parked next to the terminal is a 767.

Last week a C-17, 2 744's and a 767 where all there. Coupled with a Delta MD88. Crazy.

Midair also has a facility in MLB. One 744 is getting worked on right now. Flew in from Narita. When they are done, they fly them to either Griffiss or Moscow.

Mayor of Melbourne said every finished frame will be coming through here. I know EADS has an office here, and I asked him why, and he said it was for something else and couldn't really talk about it.

I played hoops in college. Unless you had the shits, you never had to go. All the sweat made the urge to piss go away.

And if you did have the shits, it was a postive. Smell like a sewer and no one would want to guard you.
