There is some reflection from the overhead lights. The screen is mainly blue and white, but there is no grey on the screen. The "AmericanAirlines" in the upper left screen is a grey text, but the background is white. Sorry for the confusion with the reflection.

There are other options out there besides UND and Embry-Riddle. I still have very bitter feelings towards UND from my experience there. I have since transfered and am much happier not attending UND anymore. They may have the reputation, but I think they are far from the best.

I don't think you get pre-boarding privledges or anything on non-partner airlines. I know that if you have to switch airlines, usually your new airline will match your status of your previous airline.
