So, my question is this, If they fly the BN-2 over and it pretty much depletes the batteries, how long will it take to recharge them for the return flight? That is of course assuming they use batteries and not hydrogen or something of the sort. That alone could make for some longer turns.

I was on an SAA A330 into IAD a couple of yeas back and we had to go around because ATC vectored us in to close and to high. The Pilot was not happy. After we were off the plane and working our way through immigration/customs, he told me because of the poor vectors, it put us to high and to fast.

I just saw that. Watching the FA slam into the ceiling is painful. I pray she is all right. This why we stay buckled up when seated. According to the report on Fox News, one of the seats broke loose from their anchor points during the turbulence.

In the mid 90's, some friends of mine were flying Air Pacific from the Samoan Islands (I believe that is correct) back to Fiji and they were the only 2 passengers on the 767 that afternoon. They had coach tickets and when they boarded were shown to seats 1A/B.
