I thought booze was mostly free in 1st/business class and in lounges. Don’t think airlines “make a lot of money”. If there is no breathalyzer test before taking the wheel of your car/truck, I don't see how there could be one to be a plane passenger. Also, some people drink to calm their nerves, airlines wouldn't want to lose these customers. Airlines make a lot of money off of alcohol sales. Plus, FA's like it...

Even if Boeing has a backlog of 737 orders I am sure many will get cancelled. Because of the pandemic the airlines financial situation has changed dramatically. Boeing is at it's best when they listen to the needs of their customers. Such as Southwest needing a new generation of 737? Very much so.

I don't think it would be in their best interest. Since their frequent flier program runs on points how would a member turn those points into a reward flight on a partner airline. Maybe they would consider code share flights for long haul international flights. However, I would not hold my breath.

The best flight I was ever on was on an Eastern 757 from DCA-ATL in First Class. I was served a wonderful meal. There was not a cloud in the sky during the whole flight. Also, the cockpit door was broken during the first part of the trip, so I got to watch the pilots.
