Re: Unconfirmed: BA pushing A350 schedules forward

Well MAD's A350 flights aren't even on sale yet so obviously theres a delay in the delivery. In addition the rumor about BA receiving the A350 on July 25th has gone quiet. Why 'obviously'? First customer acceptance flight was yesterday. BA will most likely keep the aircraft listed as A321, then not...

Re: MLB Charter Flights to London

Do we even have a rounders field here for them to play on? It's being played at the London Stadium (West Ham Utd's ground) or as I still prefer to call it - the Olympic Stadium. Aww, they could've and borrowed a cricket ground somewhere. IIRC there was even once a baseball game played at Lord's, al...

Re: Jetblue “Save the Date” All Hands - April 10

VS at best have flown LGW-MCO 3x with 744, and that's not daily even in the peak. I suspect he may be including the MAN and Scotland flights, if they are still there. I've seen four 744's at MCO, one was a MAN flight. He did specifically say LGW but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt....

Just had a cursory glance at flights from LHR-MAD in August and September and the A350 isn't shown, just A32X and the odd 777. Will they add the A350 to the schedule or is it a case of 'take your chances'. Sandyb123 Waiting for book my flight in the A35K ¡¡¡¡ You will probably find it will operate ...

Let's be realistic, will it actually make a difference and bring them up to the level of most European carriers or Delta? Probably not. Ah, but in Asia Pacific they do. Jetstar pioneered it in 2006, followed by AirAsia X and Scoot thereafter. Sure, they aren't exactly raking it in, but the longhaul LCC genie is well out of the bottle, and the fact that they have survived for so long means that it has its place. Look, I hate the nam...

It's called Shannon because back in the 1930's the flying boats operating transatlantic services served a terminal called Foynes which is on the Shannon estuary.

No way that Virgin will give up the Upper Class product on the beach fleet, reduced perhaps, but still there, good revenue earner. I totally agree. Upper sells out on the beach fleet routes, and demand for Premium is healthy too. The 744s are currently 14J/66W/375Y for a 455 seat count. With the po...
