Only 60% of seats are available for pre-assignment. The other 40% are allocated at check in on the day of departure, so my advice would be to check in as early as possible.

I don't want to get anyones hopes up but the Arcadia system for one reason or another is not compatible with the Upper Class Suite which is why B744s G-VFAB and G-VHOT had an upgrade to v:port at the same time as the UCS was fitted.

It's likely (although not definite) that G-VSUN will be refitted with the Upper Class Suite prior to re-entering service with Virgin Atlantic. The aircraft needs a reconfiguration to bring it into line with the rest of the A343 fleet as it would be very difficult to assign a dedicated plane to one r...

At the moment the VS001 (16:00hrs departure) is scheduled to be on the 747-400 and the VS017 (20:30hrs departure) is on the A340-600. This of course could change between now and June.

You shouldn't be surprised that the Cabin Crew don't want to socialise with you downroute when you make such derogatory remarks.

It's strange that someone who claims to love working for Virgin makes a point of being so negative about the company and those who work there.
