Oh yeah...I forgot the New Beetle Convertible. My revised list is
#1 VW Cabrio
#2 VW New Beetle Convertible
#3 VW New Beetle
The Mazda 6 is a great option but its pretty pricey starting out. I have heard the handling is excellent and overall its a very good car (even in 4cyl form), but it is in its first year so there is a very good chance you will have reliability issues. The biggest downside is the options arrangements....

I am in shock that the Cabrio is not on the list. There is a number of straight guys that drive New Beetles though, and I heard they pick up women quite easily in them.

Jump to postI am in total support of the Dixie Chicks. I am not saying what all her ex fans did was wrong, just seriously immature.
I will buy one of their albums in support of them (I like their music anyways).
Hyundai's reliability has gone through the roof since 2000 and is probably getting close to Honda/Toyota territory (now they just gotta earn the reputation). Plus you have one of the best warranties to back it up anyways and will not have to worry about repairs for a long time. All Hyundai's are a d...
Jump to postFirst off leasing does not sound like a good option for you because you do so much driving and will most likely go over on the mileage. But if you really want to lease you can buy miles up front. Also if you go over your mileage most carmakers will waive the mileage at lease turn in if you get anoth...
Jump to postThe 1.8T is kind of hard to drive smoothly at first. The Passat I have driven is a 03 1.8T with the Tiptronic. My impression of driving it basically mirrors what Captaingomes said. It has a soft takeoff and you tend to overcompensate on the throttle, then 2,000RPM comes up and the engine starts raci...
Jump to postWhy would you want to repaint that car anyways? When you change the whole color you are going to pay close to $2000 if you want the doorjambs and under the hood painted. Jump to postTurbo's have come along way since back in the day. For example the 1.8T offered in many different VW/Audi vehicles ranging from 150hp to 225hp. Jump to postThe 2.slow really is not all that bad. Jump to postYeah, manual is awesome. It took me a few minutes to learn it and only about 2 days to avoid stalling out.
