I truly bristle at a "United States Customs and Border Protection" station in a country other than the United States. The presence of such an entity usurps sovereignty of the host country. As a counter-example, how would Americans feel if there were a Russian Customs control at <acronym title="New Y...

Thanks to all for your help. Regrettable development if it indeed is defunct. Can anyone recommend a similar flight planner for FS-9?

(Without) Cheers,

Always enjoy your <acronym title="Transbrasil SA Linhas Aereas">TR</acronym>'s. Could you submit some transatlantic or other intercontinental trip reports like you did in 2005-2006? FS9 And Vista: Add On Software Headaches

Colleagues, I know there are similar threads running on this forum but none appear to address this particular question. I have just purchased a Windows Vista computer and installed FS9. I have Edit Voice Pack and Active Camera (purchased version) installed, as well as 200+ airlines from World of <ac...

RE: TAM Plane Crashed In CGH

What is wrong with Brasilian aviation? Brasilian aviation used to be the envy of Latin America. Just yesterday an ATR-42 skidded off the same runway. The runway where this happened has been newly resurfaced and was delivered into service without proper groovings to aid in braking. How is this possib...

Newest brief from Aeronautical Command via Jovem Pan radio states that there is no current confirmation of survivors, that rescue personnel are not yet on the ground. Very confusing!

I heard this on Radio Jovem Pan AM (www.jovempan.com.br) from a correspondent on the ground in Peixoto de Azevedo. Jovem Pan is interrupting their regular programmation with interim updates of events at the crash site.

International Alternative To Flightaware.net?

Hello a.netters, Flightaware.net does a great job of tracking flights originating in the U.S. which are heading to domestic or international destinations. However, it does a poor job of tracking non-U.S. originating flights heading to the U.S. or to other destinations. Is there any website that trac...

How is an aircraft fuselage cleaned? Are there IATA rules on this or is it up to the carrier to...
