LGA terminal B is probably the nicest terminal complex in America, and C is on its way. I don’t see how you can rationally call LGA the worst when EWR across the river (pre terminal 1) exists. LGA can build however nice a terminal it wants; it’s still full of New Yorkers and it’s still sandwiched b...

Jump to postGotta wonder how much easier a hypothetical AS/B6 merger would be to get through. They complement each other’s networks, you don’t eliminate any low-fare competition, they’re already One World so you can keep the NEA in some form. It always made the most intuitive sense to me.
Jump to postThe B6/NK merger is a repeat of what AS did with VX. Following the merger AS has dumped the Airbuses (proudly all Boeing) and has dropped most if not all routes VX was flying. What the merger accomplished was to eliminate a competitor in the California (North Bay) market that AS wanted to grow in. ...

When one decides to fly to Cleveland the car rental facility has no bearing on if a trip is made. Terminal improvements affect all passengers with most...

That's nice, but it's all hub flying. I was hoping AA might throw in a CLE-DUB feeder flight, like STL or even MCI. AA and IAG (EI's owner) are partners, after all. Wishful thinking, I guess. The A319ceo would allow B6 to retire the E190 fleet immediately while achieving crew & parts commonality with the rest of the A320ceo family. Of course, they’d be gradually phased out as more A220’s come on property. Wait, what? This merger isn’t going to happen that fast. By the time JetBlue w...
