Gotta wonder how much easier a hypothetical AS/B6 merger would be to get through. They complement each other’s networks, you don’t eliminate any low-fare competition, they’re already One World so you can keep the NEA in some form. It always made the most intuitive sense to me.

That doesn’t make any sense. Escape hatches swing inwards; the water pressure would be greater than any residual air pressure. Should swing right open.

JetBlue needs more aircraft like yesterday. Then why are they so hellbent on getting rid of the E190s? With airfare up so much, they have to be making money. Keep them and run them into the ground. They *were* run into the ground. The 190’s are shredded to pieces inside and are absolute mx hogs.

ANY DATES on B6 starting DCA to BOS on the a220? 190's are not retired? I suspect BOS-DCA and LGA will be the last routes served by the E90. Yep, don’t hold your breath. The E190 will be the workhorse in DCA for years to come. Literally the last routes the 190’s fly will be DCA and LGA to BOS.

Awesome to see AS adding more service! This is what CLE needs to be focused on, not vaporware flights to Europe. Strengthen the domestic network and get current tenants to add more flights and/or bigger jets. That's a much more realistic goal for an airport/city of CLE's size.

Having flown jets for years, including several sized RJ’s, the E190, and Airbus products… I actually thought the 190 handled great. I hated the ergonomics of the cockpit and wasn’t a big fan of the design philosophy, but it flies great and does a great job in the wind, especially on shorter runways....
