Sorry to bring up a 4-day old thread, :p, but I’ve read that the early KLM -200B’s had the JT9D-7W fitted. -7W? I’ve heard of the -7 and -7A. But what is the -7W? Is it the 45,500lb -7 with the water injection? If so, why didn’t they get fitted with the more powerful-7A if it was available? I think...
